Chef’s Choice Restaurants & Cooking School
Patrick O’Toole, Executive Chef, explains that the chefs and staff take their preferences from farm to table with their Wellness pasture-raised focus. “Last year we raised 11,000 pounds of vegetables and edible flowers,” notes Patrick. “Our chefs are proactive, and they also work the gardens as a part of the process that leads to their expert cooking and presentation.”
“The focus refers to the food as from sea to table where there’s a heavy leaning on proteins and greens. We’ve tested out vegan diets and found them to be most satisfying. The menu is worked on from a team perspective on our plate, everything we do and think about doing focuses on our plates being healthy.”
“Our smoothie honey bowl is very popular as is the quinoa seeds for salad. Some of the ingredients for this salad includes cabbage, pomegranate, beets and a lemon soy vinegar mix.”

Lakefront Activities – Beach Time
The Osthoff Resort offers the finest lake-shore setting in southeastern Wisconsin with 500 feet of sand beach on beautiful Elkhart Lake. Formed by retreating glaciers, Elkhart Lake has a natural sand bottom and keeps its water clear year-round. The lakefront features picnic areas complete with water sports, grills, bonfire area, a playground, volleyball courts and a concession stand. Wristbands are given to resort guests to enjoy The Osthoff Resort’s private lakefront/swimming area. The Lake Deck and Recreation Rentals are open to resort guests and the general public.
