Founder and CEO of Colorado-based Shepard Revolution, David Prosper, joins RTM Editorial Board as Vice President | Editor-at-Large

The words confident, courageous, compassionate, fair, and honest have all been used to describe David Prosper. A Black man and son of a Haitian immigrant, Prosper has spent his entire life navigating societal, and often systemic, obstacles to his success; not from positions of weakness, but from positions of strength. From false starts to false prophets, Prosper has faced his share of giants. Like the underdog-turned-hero who battled Goliath, this David harnesses the power of his mind, body, and spirit to fight for justice and lead by example.
Recognizing his body of work – both personally and professionally – and ability to create and deliver rich, engaging content to a broad range of constituencies, the Editorial Board at Reviews & Trends Magazine has invited Prosper to join RTM as Vice President | Editor-at-Large. As editor-at-large, Prosper is not assigned to a single content area and has the freedom to publish stories that are of value and interest to him. Much of his work at RTM will be influenced and informed by his personal, lived experiences.
Prosper serves his local and global community as a writer, life coach, educator, entrepreneur, strategic consultant, and an international TEDx motivational speaker. In 2021, Prosper was recognized as a “Rising Star Professional” and interviewed as one of the most influential people in business by the Colorado Springs Business Journal. As Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Shepherd Revolution, the Global Youth Leadership Summit, the Shepherd Revolution Leadership Academy, and host of the Shepherd Revolution Podcast, he has trained, inspired, and collaborated with more than 10K students and leaders. As the recipient of the “Exemplary Leadership Award” from St. Norbert College, De Pere, WI (his alma mater), Prosper has dedicated his life to helping both new and experienced leaders break through barriers. With a shepherd’s heart and a visionary’s mind, Prosper serves on the Board of Directors of the US Christian Chamber of Commerce and is active in community development & expansion. He believes that when leaders get better, families, communities, schools, governments, and the world ALL get better, as well.
